How to find the right frame for my face?
Color: The color should repeat your personal best feature. For example, a blue frame to show off your blue eyes.
Size: This should match with the size of your face unless you want to make a bold statement or draw attention to certain feature of your face. If you have a small, delicate face, choose small delicate frames and vice versa.
Shape: Choose the frame shape that contrasts the shape of your face. Please see below for more tips on choosing a frame shape.
For Oval Faces: An oval face is considered to be an ideal shape. You can wear nearly any type of eyeglass frames with an oval face. Choose frames that are as wide as (or wider than) the broadest part of the face, or walnut-shaped frames that are not too deep or too narrow.
For Round Faces: To make a round face appear thinner and longer, try angular narrow eyeglass frames to lengthen the face or a frame that has strong, square lines like rectangular frame. Stick to one that has more width than height. This will give the illusion of width to your face, which will offset the round curves.
For Square Faces: To soften the angles of a square face, it is best to choose narrow frame styles, frames that have more width than height, oval or rounded frames are also good choices to balance the squareness of your face.
For Heart-Shaped Faces: A heart-shaped face is wider at the forehead and the temples, with a narrowing at the chin. Look for frames that are wider at the bottom and are narrower at the top. Rimless or semi-rimless frames are great choices for heart-shaped face.
For Narrow or Oblong Faces: If your face is narrow or oblong, the best frames are ones that are wider than they are long. Frames with wide or decorative temples are excellent choices because they draw attention away from the length of the face.
For Diamond Faces: Diamond-shaped faces are very rare. To highlight the eyes and soften the cheekbones, try frames that have detailing or distinctive brow lines, or try rimless frames or oval and cat-eye shapes. We want you to love your eyewear!
